Terms and Conditions

Ora Piercing Studio is OPS. All clients agree to the terms and conditions by booking in with OPS. If there are any issues, please fill in a contact form and submit and someone will reply to your query.

1. Every booking requires a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the appointment. Under no circumstances are deposits refundable as of June 2023. 

2. Deposits covers PPE, appropriate equipment and the jewellery cost which allows OPS to get ready for your appointment. 

3. You can transfer your booking fee to another date if you wish to, but any cancellations within 24 hours will not be within the time scale to transfer the deposit. 

4. The remaining cost of your appointment is payable via cash, bank transfer or any other available methods of payment that OPS accept. 

5. A third of your appointment is the lateness window. Example - most appointments are 30 minutes, therefore anything later than 10 minutes and you'll be classed as a no show. Some appointments are 15 minutes so 5 minutes late will not be accepted. 

6. Valid government ID is required for each person, prior to each appointment. This is aplicable for clients and their guardian (if the guardian is required to be at the appointment. 

7. If ID is not brought, OPS reserves the right to decline services and your deposit will not be refunded nor transferred. 

8. The studio is strictly over 8 year olds. DO NOT bring children under 16 if they are not being pierced. OPS reserves the right to turn any client away that does not adhere to the age policy. 

9. Parental consent will not be applicable for piercings over 18 and parents MUST be present where parental consent is required. ID is required from the piercee and parent. 

10. OPS will not pierce clients who are pregnant. It is usually safe to get pierced 3 months post-partum, but OPS will not be responsible for any decisions made by the individual regarding piercings post childbirth. 

11. OPS will not pierce those who are actively breast feeding. 

12. Clients that are taking certain medication may be declined services and asked to come back at a later date. 

13. Clients under the influence of illicit/illegal drugs or alcohol will be declined services.

14. Any appointment can be rescheduled through the booking app if you are not within the 48 hour window.

15. Consent forms will be kept for a maximum of 7 years.

1. All piercing jewellery is to be supplied by OPS only and OPS will NOT pierce with client jewellery. ZERO exceptions. OPS will fit jewellery if the area is healed.

2. OPS will NOT pierce, give advice nor change jewellery of any piercing below the belt. 

3.Clients wil be required to confirm the location of the piercing, once this is done and the piercing is complete, OPS holds ZERO responsibility for the location being incorrect. When asked if you are happy with the purple mark, please say if you are not. We would rather pierce where you want to be pierced (subject to correct anatomy). For example, you want your helix piercing higher, tell us. 

4. All piercings are subject to anatomy confirmation. If your anatomy isn't  suitable, OPS will not pierce. Please note there will just be a £5 fee for an appointment like this just to cover time and P.P.E used. 

5. Your initial piercing appointment doesn't include downsize nor upgraded jewellery. 

6. Your initial piercing appointment includes highly polished, titanium jewellery. 

7. Downsize appointments are booked as 1 single downsize, any extra downsizing needed will be charged another downsize appointment fee.

8. Jewellery change appointments will be charged at the stated rate. OPS holds the right to keep payment even if the jewellery cannot be changed (only if it wasn't done by OPS). Some piercers use bad quality jewellery which makes it hard to remove, and if OPS cannot remove it the full amount is still required. 

9. All jewellery sales are final and non-refundable. 

10. Some brands give lifetime guarantees but if they don't OPS cannot guarantee a replacement. Each case will be assessed individually. Unless the jewellery looks like it has broken due to quality etc. refunds or replacements will not be given. Clients are more than welcome to come in for changes or jewellery removal. 

11. Clients that remove their jewellery without booking in for a check up (only if you've been pierced by OPS) prior, accept liability of whatever happens to their body and the piercing going forward. OPS takes no responsibility once the jewellery has been removed against advice. 

12. Once the sterilised products have been opened in your appointment, whether you go ahead with the piercing or not, you will be required to pay the remaining balance. For example, you have a set a lobes booked in but only go for 1 when all the kit is open, you will be required to pay for the set.
